FAQ

Frequently asked Questions

How often should I get my garage door serviced?

I try to have mine checked once a year, minimum. If I use it a lot or live somewhere with rough weather, I’ll bump that up to every six months just to be safe.

Can I do any maintenance myself between pro visits?

Definitely. I like to keep an eye (and ear) on things — I’ll tighten any loose bolts, clean the tracks, lubricate the rollers, and listen for any weird noises every few months.

Is the introductory lesson really free?

If the door starts getting noisy, shaky, or slow to open, I take it as a sign something’s off. Any popping, squeaking, or uneven movement usually means it’s time for a tune-up.

Can I fix the springs myself?

No way — I leave that to the professionals. Springs are under high tension, and trying to fix or replace them myself could be seriously dangerous.
